love+hateon the day you left me  i cleaned up my room  and blasted the music so loud  that it shook the ground  i wanted to drown out the hurt  but the louder i turned on the music  the louder my pain yelled  it so wanted to be heard  and i threw everything around  and broke too many things  till my room was a bigger mess  then when i started  and i sat against the wall  on the ground  broken and crying my anguish out  my heart swelling so much  that it was stuck in my throat  with all the old emotions  that my memories pulled out  for to me preview and revi love+hate

morning coffeethis morning  a grey and sluggish rainy morning  i really hate getting up so early to go to work  i roll over as mom yells  i wish for just five more minutes in bed   
i twist my head from side to side  trying to ease out the stiffness  standing under the hot steaming water  washing out my pores  washing out the dead feeling in my limbs   
it's too early a morning  as i get dressed and shake some feeling into my arms  i stomp downstairs and plunk myself down into a seat  glowering at the world this morning  and throwing everything around

amazing how it feels like forever
